Tough Qustion. How bad do you want to be healthy? How motivated are you? Get high on life and go out with friends, start exercising and watch your bod change! Just do something else you have the spark for. You can also get "regular" pain relievers that aren't addictive!
Good luck!

Slowly stop taking as many and go to Tylenol then children Tylenol. I had an addiction to morphine once after a pyrotechnics accident. I found something else to get addicted to, caffeine.

If you can put your self into inpatient treatment that would be good. If not, you are going to suffer a good three weeks. It would be worth it. But, it's very hard and you have to be very strong. Good Luck.

you have to gradually come off them - if you just stop taking them you will have really bad withdrawel problems and even go into a "cold turkey" stage!
