My older sister is 16. She always wants everything to go her way, and lies all the time. She doesn't do drugs or anything like that, but she isn't afraid to confront our parents and argue with them. She shouts at me for putting my feet on the couch or the table, but then she does it herself a couple minutes later. Every time I oppose her, she raises her voice and threatens to steal/hide or break my items, like my computer, homework, etc. She has done this multiple times before, so it's not a dry threat or anything (I'm not really the kind of person to do the same, but I do often when she provokes me). Sometimes she yells at me to leave the TV room because 'she was there 'first', even though it isn't her room at all. But when she is hanging out with her friends she becomes shy and quiet, while at home she is demanding, loud, and mean. In addition, she ALWAYS comes into my room and follows me around. I could go on and on and on, but I don't have enough space. It's a pain. What do I do?

I have 1 older sister and 3 younger siblings. I understand how you feel. I wold try and ignore her for a while make her fell as if it is not bothering you. When she tells you to leave the T.V. room just stay and pretend you don't hear her. She might be acting like that because that is how she wants to be with her friends more open. Then again she might be having bigger problems than she want you or your parents to see, therefore acting out. Well, I don't know if I helped you any but I tried.

Try to stay away from her and ignore her would work best. And do little things like close your door when you go in your room. Block it if you have too with the bed or desk or whatever.

I would tell your parents. They should know that she is bully you like kids do to others sometimes and that you aren't going to be abuse by her or anyone and that they must do something about her behavior. You are being bullied and that is unacceptable behavior by anyone, especially your sister.

When she tells you to do something don't listen to her because she is not the boss of you. At home your parents should be telling you what you can and cannot do.
