I was moving away and you know how guys act all tough and dont cry. My boyfriend (now ex) wrote me a note the day I left and I got it in the mail when I arrived at the new house in a diff state. He wrote about he has been crying and about how the paper would have some smudge spots where his tears fell. I was crying reading it. It ment so much to me knowing he had such strong feels for me he could cry. I wish I never had moved cuz I believe things could have worked out. I still have the letter too. And that was about 3 years ago.

Its been a while let me see. It was the time when we were really broke. I went to the store and brought a can of sloppy joe mix. I thought that the hamburger was already in the can. When I opened it and there was no hamburger I felt really bad. We had nothing else to eat. I put it in a pot and warmed it up served it to him as soup. This was in the middle of August. He ate it and talked about how good it was. Years later when I told him about it he laughed. He said baby you have come a long way. He tells the story to his friends all the time.

My man is my hero. My ex tried to con me over money and property; he openly told me he was going to "declare himself bankrupt" and that I would be made bankrupt too. My man has shielded me, carried the can, completely looked after me even beyond what he can really afford. My ex is furious that he can't get at me. If there is any justice in the world, my man deserves so much fantastic luck and I really hope all kinds of wonderful things happen for him. On the other hand, my ex has built up so much bad "karma" it just doesn't bear thinking about.

He was a great gift giver. He always listened when I I talked looking for clues of things I really wanted . He had heard me mention that I had always wanted a chaise for my bedroom. It was a true luxury idea to me and wasn't expecting to open my door on my day off to a delivery man bringing me a beautiful peach, velvet chaise. It was something I couldn't ever afford and really made me feel special.

Where do I start?!?!? (I'm a VERY LUCKY GIRL!!!)

One time,he booked us into a hotel last minute. That alone made me think,'How romantic!' It was a definite swept off the feet thing to do! But it got better-I'm a Spandau Ballet addict, and to me,True is the greatest love song ever. I once told my boyfriend that I was saving dancing to True for my true love,as I'd 'messed up on that virginity thing'. Well, that night Spandau Ballet's Live at the NEC was being shown on ITV. My boyfriend told me his father was taping it for me,so I could watch it whenever I wanted. (I took this as 'Please don't make me watch it tonight!') But when we got back to the hotel after an evening out,he turned on the telly, and Match of the Day was on. He just grinned at me,and went to pour some wine. Suddenly...SPANDAU BALLET!!!!! *swoon* My boyfriend kept saying,'Are they going to play True? When will they play True?' I thought it a bit odd, because I thought he hated that song! But True came on-and there he was-ready to dance to True with me. Knowing what it meant to me. I remember looking into his eyes, our noses touching-and trembling. There's nobody else I'd want to dance to that song with. The memory still brings tears to my eyes.

I have five older brothers and I am the only girl. Im also part italian and catholic, my ex- boyfriend (who was a friend of my brother first) went hunting with my dad and brothers and actaully asked permission from my father if he could date me. I thought it was really sweet that he risked his life and friendship with my brother just to take me to dinner and a movie. It turned out that we really didnt fit but hes a great friend.
