I agree with everyone on here...you don't need the egg to get the bread crumbs to stick....but if you want to make it extra yummy, rather than just rolling the chicken in breadcrumbs, try soaking the chicken overnight in buttermilk and then rolling it in breadcrumbs. You would not BELIEVE how much flavor this adds!! Hope this helps!!

I have never used eggs to make my fried chicken. I just season my flour and dip my chicken pieces in the flour/seasoning mixture and place the chicken in a skillet with heated oil. Delicious!

Try soaking your chicken in plain water, then prepare flour and seasoning to taste. Take out one piece of chicken at a time , dip in flour then redip in water and flour again.

If you would like to cook the chicken in the oven all you need to do is season the chicken however you like. I like to cover mine in Italian dressing, however you can be creative and use what you like. Some suggestions BBQ sauce, or soy sauce and garlic powder, or even squeeze lemon juice over the top and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cover the dish with foil, set the oven temp for 360 degrees and allow it to cook for at least 35 Min's. Enjoy. Be creative and use what ever you like, you can almost never be let down.

No...you don't need to egg wash it first...Wash the chicken and pull off the fat...let dry for a bit...Drop pieces into your flour coating...it'll stick...If it's a crumb base, add a little flour to the mix...If it sticks to your fingers, it'll stick to the chicken....Bon apitite...Yuke

If you do use oil, only use pure olive oil, or coconut oil.
They are the best for you health wise. I microwave mine chicken first to get a lot of the fat and oil out and it helps it to fry faster. I do the same when I Bar B Q. It cooks faster and less chance of burning.

A little oil could do the work, massage the bird pieces and it should od fine. Use a flavered oil such as garlic or basil oil and add another dimension
