Probably. It is also the last Sunday before Advent. A wise old monk once told me to not fear the demons. God only allows them to torment us so that we will learn to keep our eyes only on Jesus.

You are correct in the heighten activity. You may be correct as t othe reason. our cast out angels do get agrivated when humans actually get it right and align wiht God and heaven. Generally that act up the most just prior to the really good stuff because that see it comming and want to derail us. I suspect that there is something comming in association with Christmans that is going to be great and life changing and our lost ones are trying to diminish the impact.
It could be the new movie due out next weekend "Nativity" I suspect that it will impact people much in the same way the "Passion of Christ" did.
