Certainly not me. Rampant consumerism is completely unnecessary. I'll be spending about $20 per kid.

How a pair of scarf? whether you haven't any longer ever knit something until eventually now, knitting is definitely common to verify and between the quickest common the thank you to verify is a single-skein scarf - knit one row, purl one row, all a thank you to the tip. a homestead made present, from the middle, that purely fees the value of the skein you decide on for - everywhere from 5-7 money at Wal Mart. Merry Christmas!

I am the "tightwad" in our family, so I am always having to curb my husband as he wants to get them everything. I have to remind him that what we get them is only part of what Christmas is about... the rest is what we do as a family. We have a strict budget of $100 per child, and we have to stick to it. So far, we are right on target with our budget. I think you have to set a goal to stick to in order to keep yourself from spinning out of control. Besides, in most families, the kids get stuff from grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.... with so much stuff that they couldn't possibly enjoy or remember it all. So, this year, we got them each a large "Santa" gift ($60), and one medium priced ($25) gift from us, then the rest will be little stocking stuffers and maybe a book. That way, they get something special, but they aren't thinking that mom and dad are always going to shower them with gifts each year (that will eventually get lost or hidden away in their room). We also have a double whammy... both of our children have their birthdays on either side of Christmas. One is two weeks before, and the other is two weeks after. So, we make sure to stick to our budget or else someone isn't getting a birthday gift!
