Do any of you teachers teach with saxon algebra 1? Could you please give me an opinion about it? Our school is getting new books and the principal has ordered me to pick out a textbook for the class. How do you think this program is? Could you send me some test samples so I can get a feel if this program is right for my students? Thanks!

DON'T GET IT!!! It is absolute crap. The entire Saxon series is rubbish!! It does not teach to mastery and jumps all over the place. Students get lost and confused!! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!

I was a student with Saxon math...its really not that bad, at as bad as Abeka heh. Here is a website that might help :D
