why cant we accept the fact that god or the universe see's everything equally, as if we were self center human, thinking we the only one in the universe, or god's special species

Good question! Though I believe in an afterlife, I do not base all of my actions around it. I live my LIFE!

I don't base everything on the afterlife and neither does anyone who has claimed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The afterlife is just a perk of being in His glorious plan of redemption. Sorry if you misinterpreted this from anyone. I cannot imagine anyone saying that everything that they do is based on the worry about their afterlife.

I wish I knew why they worry so about it! I live as good of a life as possible, I believe in g-d------let the rest take care of itself.
I have seen too many people (Christians-which I converted from) deny themselves simple pleasures because they are ''sinful'', do things they hate doing-----just to get into heaven. They make their life on earth a living hell, trying to get into heaven.

honestly, i dont worry about it. im an atheist, yet i cant even conceive of a god that would ever damn me for not believing in him even though im a halfway decent person.

We worry because you will be there FOREVER, what if it's not what you want? I mean it's kind of a big deal.
