1st you have to evaluate why you argued. Maybe it was his fault, maybe he should make it up to you. Don't automatically think you always have to make it up to him.
Of course if it is upon you than it really just depends on what happened. It could just be you need to give him some time. If he loves you he'll let you know when he's ready. Don't push it

The absolute best thing you could do is to not only apologize but ask him if you could talk about the argument. Just apologizing does not solve what triggered the argument in the first place. Arguments can be mean, drama-filled, hurtful rants on both sides of the relationship but they also give you a chance to open up communication and talk about what lies underneath. The only way to succeed in a relationship is through communication. Communication allows you to tell each other your feelings and your expectations in the relationship. Although you might have been wrong, apologizing doesn't explain why you feel the way you feel and what you expect from him in the future. You should also ask him how he feels about the argument and ask him or discuss WITH him how you can prevent such an argument in the future.

Men are prideful and hate to be wrong. So when you see him even if he's ignoring him say ' look I hate us not talking and I can't bear you being mad at me.' also maybe if you don't see him call him if he doesn't answer leave him a message that tells him how much you care. If its bugging you try everything you can to talk to him and since your already on thin ice when and if he starts getting heated say ' Baby (or whatever you call him) I just want us to have another chance so I really don't want any bad feelings between us.' If that doesn't work let him simmer down for a day or two, but don't seem desperate. Just patch it together slowly even if it means being just friends for a little while.

First of all are you sure it deserves an apology. Are you sure he was right in everyway possible way. Well if you say yes to those, then just apologize to him. Tell him how you were wrong and how sorry you are and how it will not happen again. He will forgive you.

Let him know that you regret having an argument with him. And you'd like to resolve whatever it was you argued about. Perhaps he feels the same way.
