I have fallen for a man 20 yrs older then me. I have known him for a year. He is an amazing person and has no kids or ex wife. I have been dating a guy for over 5 yrs now and i'm just not happy! Should i just try it?

Hello -- I have expierence with this very topic. The truth of the matter it is not going to work out ever. Unfourtnately,
I have been down that road. When I met my husband,
he was 41 and I was 21. He treated me in a way that
swept me off me feet. But, that was then. My mother,tried
to tell me. But as fate would have it, I didn't listen.
It was great the first couple of years. Then he changed
unfortunately. At 30 years old I was looking for a rest home for him. I was so much more active than him.
He had different interests.As I look back on the whole thing, would I do it again? No My mother was right. So Good Luck

maybe you should try to change what your not happy with in your present relationship,get counselling or something,but if it is over then when your are ready to date again,let this older guy know and see what happens...but dont forget that when you are 40 he will be 60 and might have lost his appeal,but if its just a fling you want then there is no reason why the older guy wont be as much fun as a younger one,its down to his attitude rather than his age.

is he interested in u or is it a secret admiration u have for him? I suppose u r round 20 or 20+ (hopefully and not younger..) and u r xcited .. i am in a similar situation , really xcited for a guy 17 yrs older than me.. when i'm thinking about him, he is all i want, but occassionally when i'm thinking straight.. i am like "where do i want to put myself into.." ..and i chicken out! if he is to make the first move , then ok, but i won't xpose myself..
so the main Q is , does HE LIKE U BACK?

firstly, how old r u? as long as u arent REALLY young, i see no problem.
like, i personally, cant stand dating men my own age or younger... too immature. older men always for me
