When somebody forces their tongue in your mouth, that is just plain disgusting but making out is meant to symbolize a part in your relationship where you feel at ease with someone to the point of physical intimacy. The feeling that someone is not repulsed to be kissing you back is and the feeling of acceptance is what makes it awesome.

Well, it is not supposed to be forced-or stinky-that's why you brush your teeth and and tongue well! -DUH! Any who, when your in love, you'll understand, I mean to have someone you are infatuated with, feel the same way, it's great. To be able to share that emotion by kissing, or french kissing for that matter is great, it signifies that you are willing to be that intimate with that individual because you care, and by caring means you are willing to shove you tongue into their mouth and vice versa and enjoy the fact it's an attraction both want and can't resist, and most of all are willing to commit to. Baby, it's a beautiful thing.

It's passionate, intimate, and arousing. Unless of course you're kissing someone who only wants to ram their tongue down your throat like a drill and has no clue what they're doing.
