There is no concrete evidence of their age.
If you're trying to find out how the land of Nod could exist the best answer is Genesis 4:3
"<> that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord." (KJV)
I emphasized "And in process of time it came to pass" because this is the one loophole that Christians could use to explain Nod, although they're usually too busy to take notice of it.
As an atheist/agnostic (still undecided), I was hung up on this land of Nod thing until I realized that no specific time periods are really mentioned up to this point in Genesis. It does not say that God stopped making humans after he created Adam and Eve. Since he is the alpha and the omega, he could have created the land of Nod on the fly. So there will never be any real argument supporting it either way, imho.
A better question to ask is: Why accept Abel's offering and not Cain's? It seems that at the time perhaps people thought more of shepherds than of farmers or perhaps Genesis 4:7 is saying that God knew what Cain was about to do, so he punished him both before and after his sin, which makes no sense, reeks of "Minority Report" issues.
Hope this helps.

Since he was able to kill Abel, he was old enough to know better. When he left his parents (they had long been out of Eden) he must've been old enough to survive on his own.
