does it hurt when you eat if you have lip piercings or tounge piercings?

It hurts right away based on my experience with a verticle labret. But once it heals it is fine. It is just plain akward for a while, though, getting used to having extra metal in your mouth.

Get either a nose piercing or a lower lip piercing. Lower lip hurts more though. Tounge is just a killer. So i say go with the nose.. its not that bad

I had my labret pierced a couple of years ago (directly below my bottom lip, in the center), and once when I was eating, I got the flat part of the jewelry that is on the inside of your mouth caught on my teeth, and it pulled the jewelry into my lip backwards.


Not fun.




So, if you get it done and wear a stud instead of a hoop, I would recommend being careful of that. :)

well when i got my lip pirced i didnt even want to eat cos i got sudden pain and had sum trouble fitting food in my mouth but it goes away after like a week or so depending on how fast ur body heals n stuff and it also depends on where and how many piercings u get

I have a monroe, and it's a tad bit uncomfortable when you first get it done,

but you do get used to it, and it really doesn't interfere.

about five years ago, my mom got her tongue pierced. when she came out,her tongue was all bloody and bruised, it was like that for,like three weeks. so you would have to stayt away from jolly ranchers and steak for awhile. now, she's used to it, and she never complains. IDK about lip piercings though....
