Keep on telling the police, and they should do something about it. This isn't acceptable for him to do.

It might not be a stalker but the main purpose of the person is to annoy you. I have had this problem with these kids calling my house every day or so saying the most ridiculous things. I got mad one day and just cussed them out and they never called back again. That probably wouldn't work for someone who is of a mans age as you mentioned. Try ignoring it and just hanging up whenever the man calls.

You could make a complaint to your telephone company about obscene and threatening phone calls. If you revisit the local police and tell them the calls are threatening and obscene, they have to act as there are laws against such things. Your telephone company may have "caller identification" and "call trace" features to offer, such as I have here. It is possible to have these calls traced and the individual criminally charged. Get a recording device for your phone and record all of these calls. Get a nice loud air horn, such as what is used at hockey games etc. They are quite small but pack a loud wallop. Maybe a nasty, ear shattering blast is what this idiot needs.

Do you live in England. If so that wasnt very nice of the police I used to get calls like that the police said if the calls continued they would trace the calls, if they could) and prosecute for harrassment. Have you thought about using a whistle when this person calls.

Write down the times he calls and hang up on him. Talk to the phone company about it, it is against the law the police are just being lazy. When he calls say, "operator this is another call, to record "and record it for evidence in a restraining order.

Buy a gun and the next time he's calling you making weird noises and crude remarks ask him to identify a sound for you then c.o.c.k. the gun into the receiver...He might not stop calling but he sure as hell won't go near you.

This is serious, you should alert you parents if you are close with them, your very best friends, and your boyfriend (if you have one). Does he call more than once in a short period of time? Well if he does call the police after the first call and tell them that you think he is going to call back and to trace the call. Women just can't be safe anymore and even if this is a prank you should talk percaution. Email me with the results: blue_eyed_beauty737@yahoo.com. Thanks, and Good Luck!

If he is calling your cell phone then have your phone reject his calls. If he is calling your house phone then get caller i.d. and stop answering. Most likely this man isn't calling b/c he's actually going to do anything but because he knows its bothering you and he gets his "jollies", if you will, by hearing you squirm when he calls. Also, if you have any male friends, have them answer next time he calls. Perhaps if he hears that there is a a strong male presence in your house then it will scare him off and he will leave you alone. I hope this helps...

Call the phone company. They can put a trace on the call and tell you who is harrassing you. Then, go to the police and file a complaint. The calls will soon stop.

ask the police to trace the call. tell them that this guy is really scaring you and the police and supposed to help you, not tell you to go home. or change your phone number. or if you have caller ID then next time he calls dont answer it.
