Does anyone have any ideas on how I can safely ship hotdogs?
Michigan to Kentucky. (Please don't tell me to drive them there in a cooler.)

I order frozen foods from Alaska, and it's overnighted by FedEx in a styrofoam cooler and filled with dry ice. Maybe your local UPS or FedEx can tell you where to find those materials.

Must be some great hotdogs!

I didn't know that hot dogs needed anything special... heck, you could probably drag them cross country behind a car and they'd be edible at the end of the trip.

Seriously though, most sausages need only protection from abrasion, not necessarily cooling. If you want you can find refrigerant packs at drug stores to keep them cool. Just put the packs in a plastic bag, then a paper bag with the hot dogs and put them in a box.

Pack it with "dry ice" and styrofoam, just like food shipping companies.

Overnight FedEx. I use to ship baked goods to my aunt all the time.
