I have been using Lime Pro for over a year and I have no problems. Just scan all downloads before moving them to the file of your choice. People seem to blame Lime for all there problems. when in fact just surfing the web can be a risky venture. I have had no alerts from my Antivirus while running on Lime and no scans have ever came back with a file from Lime. Just try it and do the safe thing and scan everything you download. I hope this is of some help. "PEACE"

Limewire is the best to use for downloading. It doesn't harm your computer but it can slow it down. All you have to do is make sure you turn it off after you use it. Don't let it run all the time. As long as it's not running all the time your computer will run like normal. I've never gotten a virus from it and it hasn't put spy or adware on mine. I along with everyone I know uses it.

So I have LimeWire Pro...(A cousin gave it to me.)

I have downloaded a lot of stuff from it, so everytime I launch it, my computer becomes slower. But that is only because I have been using it for so long and how many GB I have stored on it. But, if a file has a virus in it, my downloads stop automatically with the message "File Corrupted." I have Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition which might be helpful to me, but also, I don't share any of my files for upload at all. If you need help with that message me.

Installing it won't do your PC any harm as long as you get it from the official site limewire.com. Just be careful with what you choose to download as it could contain spyware or viruses etc. I usually do a virus scan on the stuff I download.

Considering it infests your pc with adware, it affects your pc right away! It also sets your pc open to file sharing! Last but not least, p2p sites are simply sites that connect your pc to another users pc! How do you know how infected he is? ANYONE who uses them is a total idiot! OMID, I guess you dont know anybody!
