Latin, because it is a beautiful language with many beautiful historic events attached to it and since it is a basis for the romance language and is linked to other languages, I would be able to learn french, spanish, italian and other languages much easier.

I have learned Latin already. I know some Greek (Ancient, Koine[New Testament] and modern[which they speak in Greece today). I will start by improving my Greek and then go on to Sanskrit (which is a language BTW) and then Tamil. Because Tamil is the only non-Indo European language among those mentioned so it's very different. But a lot of Sankrit elements penetrated Tamil from ancient times so that can make things easier for the learner.

Am Fluent in English and Spanish so i would choose Tamil or Greek.
Btw Tamil and Greek i would choose Tamil since i very much want to learn only the oldest, but it is not easy to learn Tamil, ofcoz
Old Tamil in particular but it might take ages for me to learn it, so for satisfaction i would jus stick to the learning of modern Tamil

I am currently learning Latin and Ancient Greek. I find it really interesting learning about where a lot of the words in the English language derived from.
Ancient Greek is much harder to learn than Latin though as they have a different alphabet to us!

I being a Telugu would choose Tamil since Telugu is an offshoot of Tamil and furthermore Tamil is a classical language older than
latin, greek, egyptian or even sanskrit.
It is potentially the oldest language still in significant use.

I would choose to learn the Latin language. At the moment, I have a deep interest in Romance studies, which is the study of langauges and cultures that have grown out of the Latin langauge and civiliation (Rome). As a result, I have a desire to perfect my Spanish, learn French, Catalan, Portugese, Italian, and Romanian. Learning Latin may help me in succeeding this goal faster.
These cannot be said to be the "oldest langauges." Coptic is an ancient langauge, and I would say that Chinese is an ancient langauge as well. If Chinese was included, I would have chosen that. Maybe learning Chinese will help me better understand my own native langauge and culture: Korean.
