I am a found believer that yes exploring things are ok, but there is a time and place for everything. And right in front of the family, isnt the most appropropriate place to be doing sexual conduct. You two should have just excused yourselves and went to your room.

I think you might seriously consider your best friend's feelings FIRST. How would she feel if she discovered the two of you? Would that freak her out? If she is normal, it should. What you did was totally INAPPROPRIATE, but maybe you felt the whole 'taboo' feeling very enticingly erotic and that is why you put your close friendship in jeopardy. Just imagine if her parents saw this... you would never be welcome in their house ever again, let alone allowed to be their daughter's best friend. Do you consider that to be worth taking such a risk for a quick cheap thrill?
