i mean if u broke up with him he must have been bad. So why would u want to remain friends and continue to hang out with him or call him. And do u remain friends with all your ex's or just the one who was special to u, because im in a situation like this. She broke up with me because of my temper but she wants to remain friends and call and hang out. I still love her and she says she still love me but not in the same way anymore. Do u think its possible to be friends with an ex and then get back together, because i think if she completely hated me she wouldnt still keep me in her life we was together for 2 years and live together for 1 year, so we have a lot of history together thats hard to let go.

because we don't like having people mad at us, but we don't feel the *sparkle* anymore

It sounds like you'll end up back together if you remain friends. However, if she REALLY does not give the vibe off that that will ever happen, that she couldnt be back IN love with you again, then you may want to reconsider being friends. It could be very difficult to be friends with someone that you have strong feelings with that does not feel that for you anymore. But at first reading this, it sounds as though you will end up back together.

I do not know the answer to this question either......It is very hard on us guys to just remain friends after a long history with a woman. Seeing them or talking to them reminds us of days passed by, and then we get sad and depressed, and, often times, we still want a relationship with that person because they were once special to us. I do not know why women want to remain friends, but it is hard on us guys, and i have never allowed it in my relations because it was too heartbreaking and too painful.

i am very mature in years honey, and let me be the one to tell you, i have never, ever wanted to remain "friends" with an ex. acquaintances, hi and bye and how ya been on a not so regular basis is cool. if i did try to remain friends, there was a reason. mainly that i wanted him to step back and see what he was losing so he could get it together before all was lost. let her have her space. take some time for you and think about your behaviors and what you need to change or adapt to keep her in your life. take your time. let her run it for awhile. see what happens.

Well, depending on the reason why we broke up, I want to remain friends because you can never have too many friends qand there is no point in ruining a perfectly good friendship over somethin as simple as a break up.

Well in my case if you had a temper it would be because i wouldnt want to see you lose your temper. And i know friends sometimes just fade out quietly. So think about that for a while.

when you had something for that long and you loved him that much, sometimes we just don't want to lose what was special. we like having those memories and holding on to ppl. i know personally i don't like losing people it sucks. you know someone for that long and then all of a sudden u stop talkin cause u broke up its like almost a waste of time. just because we wern't ment for each other doesn't mean that we can be really close friends. hope u figure everything out!

my ex...s, we are still friends and indeed just friends and i don't love them anymore. we still keep in touch but not seeing each other now anymore cause i'm abroad but we still chat. although it could be because of their negatives that i broke up with them but being friends, i will still speak off positives into their life and it's their decision to change or not for a better life. there's nothing wrong with being friends even after break off.

for girls..breaking up isnt necessarily because we dont like you as a person we just dont see u romantically like that anymore.. but if u werent a shitty boyfriend then we still want to go back to being friends like we were before. i dont know how great ur chances are of getting her back but obviously you need to work on ur temper before she'll even consider being with you again.
