Brown sugar, olive oil, and vanilla (yummy smell). The sugar is a more gentle exfoliate than salt and good for sensitive skin. You can also use white sugar or plain table salt with other oils and scents (use essential oils that are food grade or state that they are OK for use on the body). Lavender is great to add for relaxation. If you want a stimulating scrub add the zest from lemon, lime, orange or all three. Rosemary and peppermint together is also very nice. Experiment until you find something you like. I would not use baby oil as another person suggested b/c it just sits on top of the skin (not easily absorbed). Use olive or even regular vegetable oil. Jojoba and grape seed oil are also nice if you can find them.

Kinda curious why you would want to have a recipe for a budgie food. Your budgie will eat fresh vegetables, fresh fruits fresh seeding grasses, non treated off course and proprietary seeds, with such a diet of fresh produce available why would you want to cook up something

I personally like to hang out at a message board called www.theperch.net

There is a good section there for parrot recipes.

Have fun!
