To me that is it if you are looking for natural beauty. That is a picture of a moonbow, which is a rainbow that happens at night over Cumberland Falls. It is located in Corbin Kentucky, USA.
As for man made beauty, I'd have to say Italy!

Wherever you feel most content. Wherever you can look around and say, "It feels great to be alive."
I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, so let's try this...
1. The Caribbean if you favor the Ocean.
2. A tour of America's National Parks for variety of nature.
3. An retreat in Costa Rica if you want to get out in the jungle.
4. The inland passage in Alaska, or the Scandinavian Fjords if you are into glaciers
5. The ruins in Greece, or the Pyramids in Egypt for a look at history.
What are your interests?

Hawaii has some nice places. The island of Kauai has some secluded beaches that you can only get to by boat or helicopter. They are quite awesome. Also on the island of Maui there are places like Hana and the sacred falls. Very beautiful.
