Im 17, all by friends have been loosing their virginity. Theres only two of us left. Now ive had many chances to loose it, but i choose to wait for someone who i am extremaly attracted to AND love. Not just extremely attracted to which is what has been happening. Anyways im scared as i get older and the virgins get fewer it will turn guys off to be with a virgin? Or will it not matter when the time comeS? I think some guys think its a big responsibility to take a girls virginity. Am i wrong

You're very insightful - I'm impressed, I wasn't that self aware when I was 17.

Anyway - as a guy, yes I do think its a big responsibility to sleep with a virgin... at the same time, I don't think its a turn off...

But I think your answer lies in your question. You want to sleep with a man that you are both attracted to, and love. I would add that your first time should be with a man who is both attracted to you and loves you.

Any man who doesn't consider sleeping with you as a virgin can't really love you, or is to immature to really love you in the adult sense.

So, wait, no rush at this point. Wait for that man who loves you, cares about you and how you feel, including how you feel about being a virgin... and eventually sleep with him.

Just my .01

To tell u the truth, I think that what u are doing is the best way to go! Why go around losing ur virginity to other guys that just want sex. There is no point to this!

It is a good thing that u are waiting for the person u really love. Make sure that he loves u just as much and then lose your virginity! Waiting for the right person might take a while but in the end, it will help your reationship!

I waited later than all of my friends before I lost my virginity. I would listen to all of their stories:how robbed they felt or when it didn't work out, how heart broken they were- then hopping from guy to guy. I knew I was not just going to jump into bed with whoever was there. I have been intimate with two men (one is my husband now) I waited to fall in love and what a great choice. I have NO regrets. Most guys would love the chance to be a girl's first. Hopefully that is not the only reason they are pursuing you.

No, men think as one of your answers says, that virgins are hot. Children scare men off. Virgins are unpenetrated, therefore they are clean, tasty and tight!...I would love to make love to a virgin. The only problem I see, is that when your a virgin, you don't have much experience, and SOME, but not many, guys prefer an experienced woman. I do only because I'm getting too tired to train them anymore..I want a woman that can get started on her own and I'll catch up! lol

To most guys, virginity is of little consequence........Just as was previously said, many guys actually find a virgin to be hotter (and less slutty) than a girl who is........less than a virgin.......... Many guys actually like knowing that they were the first beacuse it gives them a kind of.......status....... A girl who has slept with 1 or more guys is not the same kind of prospect to a guy as a girl who has never been with a guy......It makes him feel useful and excited....And it turns many a guy on....

This is irrelevant, though. The time to lose your virginity is when you are ready to lose it. Just because everyone else is losing it does not mean that you should.........You do not want to live with regret, so lose it when you feel ready. Remember this, too: when you lose it, you can never get it back......so lose it to a guy who, even if you don't end up with in the long run, you will not regret losing it to...........

A guy will be very happy if the girl friend is still virgin. It means you guard your self good, not just give it to anyone else. But If a guy turns off by being with a virgin, it means he is brainless or he only thinks about sex. No more.

no being a virgin does not scare guys off it usually attract them ,guys always want to get with a virgin, dont follow your friends keep your virginity until you find someone who love and respect u.virgin aren't getting fewer, dont worry about that, you will be respected for keeping it.guys think it is a big responsibility because they want to brag that they get with u and then they leave u ,that's all they want so wait until u find your soul mate, someone who truly loves you not just because you are a virgin

scare them off well it depends on what you mean because some guys may look at you and think that your standards maybe to high for them so most who know you will not try. the good news is that a guy who thinks you are worth the effort to get into your pants will probably find that one will see that the uphill climb is to great or will find a part of you that he did not even bother to notice before and something more will come of it. Sex is not a must so don't feel you have to do something to get recognized because it will be a different world in college

Virginity should not be a turn off. I kept mine until I was 22. You have the right thought. I would tell you to wait until Marriage, but I didn't. However wait for the right guy. Don't give it up to someone you don't care about.
