Have another friend with internet go to the Microsoft website (it's free) and download the executable file to a CD or flash drive. Then copy that file onto your computer, then execute it. You will then have IE.

I installed the recovery disc that was included with my computer when purchased. Then I had to re install security discs and anything else wiped out! But it would be better to go to your place of purchase or a repair place and ask there.
Everyone here has an opinion based on what worked for us, but you need a professional answer based specifically on your computer and situation. Best wishes.

If XP is still functional click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore and then follow the instructions to restore your pc to the last good configuration. If that doesn't work, use the backup disk that came with the pc. You can restore the computer to the last known good configuration that way too.

i dont know,did he totally wipe out the operating system too or just delete everything manually and delete internet explorer on accident? If I were you I would go over to someones house or the libraray, and download internet explorer or firefox onto a flash drive, then just install it at my house!

You have to reinstall xp and then get the drivers from hps website. And how could you let your cousin to wipe.

Surf u need Internet Explorer u can get that here:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx?mg_ID=10010
and for typing u will need Office and that not for free.
