Most of the people they have in their group are ex-Christians.

Does it matter to you that they are taking Christians away from the Truth?

To Mark:

There is a difference between a person who HAS NOT heard that Jesus is God and lives a good life.. that person MAY be saved.

This is different from a person who HAS heard that Jesus is God and rejects Him. This person, even though he live a good life, will not be saved.

(Mark 16:16) He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

Jehova's are misled individuals. What usually Happens is that they suffer a trauma and jehova's step in and help and get them to go to their church.

A better question is why don't "most" christians know that the bible doesn't teach the trinity.

When The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.

Did you notice:

Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.

So if you think you have a scripture that explains the trinity,

You are not even remotely correct.

As Christians we should treat every religious group with respect. So why are we trying to say that people in Jehovah's Witness are taking Christians away from the truth.Every human being believes what they believe is the truth.Attacking a religious sector is not going to help in any way.Just as Justin Martyr, one of the Church Fathers of the Early Catholic Church said in AD 151 "Therefore those who lived according to reason and were thought to be atheists were actually Christians such as,among the Greeks,Socrates...."What does this tell you? If even an atheist can live a good life why can't a devout follower of a religious sect. live a good life? But just for your information, the Jehovah's witness bible is no translated properly and by saying this i am pointing out something i believe in an am not trying to discriminate anyone belonging to that religious sect.

Just as it is true that people, with no formal education in the holy scriptures, who followed an itinerant preacher, who also had no formal education, and was executed for heresy by the governmental authority, were convincing good Jewish people that they were no longer God's only beloved people.

They were brainwashed into believing that the Messiah had already come, though that was clearly not true as Armageddon had not taken place, along with the destruction of all the people of false religion.

This cult was going house to house, harassing people, telling them that their sins were no longer forgiven through the sacrifice of the lamb in the Temple.

Saul, a highly educated man, who studied in Jerusalem under the Rabbi Gamaliel, knows this cult is false and is doing what is necessary to stop them.

So, are you saying that if you live 1950 years ago, you would follow Saul example?

True Christians are primarily interested in WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES (see Scriptures below).

Meanwhile, trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.

The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".

In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Jesus never said he was God. he even asked the 12 who the people said he was and they said the son of God. who was Jesus praying to? you can not pray to yourself. Jesus can not do anything without the Father. we are not a cult. a cult worships a mere man and does what he wants and lives in one state. we are in 235 lands and live in our own homes. Jehovah wants us to love him because we want to not because we have to. visit a kingdom hall in your neighborhood. the doors are always open to anyone. see what we are all about. we love our neighbors. www.watchtower.org. a cult will not invite you in and let you leave. no one is held in to stay a Jehovah Witness if they don't want to be one. you can leave when ever you want. we love Jehovah and Jesus Christ

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that Jesus was God - they believe He was the Son of God.

Their beliefs are errant. I think they are one of groups warned about when Jesus said that many would come in His name and to be wary.

It's a cult and anyone falling for it is a fool. People should depend on the bible, not their re-wording of it and their endless parade of false prophets, which keep giving wrong end-time predictions. If nothing else, you'd think people would realize that giving false end time predictions over and over would show them its false teaching. The bible is quite clear on this, if a prophet says something will happen and it doesn't, then that prophet is not of God.

You have to be called into a special ministry in order to rescue family and friends from the JW cult. You need a thorough knowldge base of JW doctrine, and psychology and deprogramming is also needed. Former JW's, and there are plenty of them around, are invaluable. There are many good resources available out there.
