IT is discriminatory,by human nature. To me Christians seem to be the most intolerant people.I'm not a huge bible reader but it seems to me that God is willing to include anyone. The problem with anything good is that it only stays good until man gets involved.

yes, it is. Christ says that all who come to Him will be accepted. We also know from the Bible that not all are chosen to come. In the human denotation of discriminatory, we see this as a horrible thing. In His definition of sovereign grace, we know that nothing slide through His hands. He holds all things in the palm of His hands. If you are trying to belittle Christians, knock yourself out. We are used to it. He tells us that many will condemn us, but we know that you are only fighting Him. In Him, we will NOT fail. If we are from Him and of Him, He has won the victory already. Be sure to define the word discriminatory. If you really mean intolerant, you might want to reword your question. Only those who believe in nothing can be intolerant, but then, I'm sure someone will twist that around too! Hope this helps you to understand.

It sure seems like it. I think religion by nature is discriminatory, but Christ was not!

Thought, by nature, is discriminatory. One must parse and make judgement calls.

Anytime we choose one thing over another, we are discriminating--so discrimination isn't always a bad thing. It's only when we use it to demean others that it becomes bad. Christianity is, by nature, loving; so, as Christians, we should always treat those who disagree with us kindly and respectfully, even as we attempt to point the way to the Savior.

It seems to me that although the religion itself says not to discriminate, the followers typically DO discriminate.... but in all fairness, I think that maybe it's because they have such a STRONG belief that their way is the only way to get to Heaven and that if they don't tell us how evil we are and try to convince us to change, God will be displeased with them and possibly send them to Hell right along with us. Maybe not though.

No - it is inclusive - it is for all people.
Eternal life however is exclusive. Those who don't want to be there will be excluded.
