I guess it's up to the childcare provider--if you want someone to provide food then expect the cost to go up and/or to find a new childcare provider.

As a childcare worker of eight years when children are in care a menu has to be put in place which will rotate for four weeks. If a child has a allergy the provision has to offer the child an alternative meal. children are encoureaged to feed themselves to help them develop thir physical and social skills. The menu will normally have to be approved by a dietician to make sure that the children are getting the right nourishment and will have to be approved by ofstead (inspectors). Childcare workers encourage children to sit at the table and learn correct manners for their social skills. They provide encouragement for children and if a child refuses to eat they will try rewards and praises for a child. If a child still refuses to eat then in some cases a child will bring a packed lunch from home. i was ot to sure of your question hope this has helped.

Depends on the state. In New Mexico for a LICENSED (makes a big difference if they're licensed) the daycare provider provides the meals which is (meal schedule) given to them by the State of New Mexico. This system is much like the one in public/private schools that are regulated by dieticians. Because of this the price of daycare may be a bit more. If the daycare (home or facility) doesn't provide food than it's the parents responsibility to bring the food or not.
Usually if the child is an infant it's the parents responsibility to bring in the formula, cereal, baby food. But once the child is on table food than it's the daycare responsibility to provide food.
Once again this policy probably differs from state-to-state and if the provider is licensed or not. If they are licensed they have to listen to the state...if they're not than the rules are their own.

it depends on the center or home daycare. I have worked in some that provide all the food for the children on solid food. (It was also very expensive) I have also worked for centers that have the parents provide surplus snacks for the whole school. And I have worked at centers that It is the responsibilty of the parent to provide enough food for the child. As far as I am aware it is up to the descresion of the center.

I'm not really sure what your question is. Every centre or home daycare is different and their policies will be reviewed with you prior to your child starting. Generally, all centres set aside time for morning and afternoon snacks and lunch. As far as who provides the food, that's really upto each provider.

I'm not sure what the question is. Can you clarify? If a child is in your care and is hungry then you take care of the child's needs just as you would want your needs or your child's needs met. You provide a suitable snack or meal -- it really doesn't matter how many hours the child is in your care does it?

A licensed home day care gets vouchers for certain foods (At least my friend's day care did). If the child is on solid foods and they are in your care for more than a couple of hours it is your responsibility to make sure that you have meals and snacks available.

it's a choice the daycare makes, ones that provide more cost more. It's up to the parent to feed their children if there is nothing provided. Make sure you ask what all your fee entails when you sign up your child

At least as important as providing the food, is the food they are providing. Proper food, nutritionally balanced and starting to prepare that habit of eating well that is so important.
