If we have not been there, done that and got the t. shirt (so to speak .) What gives us the right to pass judgement on other that have?

Ok so you got me with the murder part. Good going. I should have tied my question up a little tighter. Putting all things like that aside.

We have the right to think whatever we want to think. So therefore we have the right to pass judgement in our minds on anyone. But I do NOT believe we have the right to outwardly judge any human being under any circumstances - I believe that is the sole right of our creator whoever or whatever that may be. By speaking our judgement we use the power of our words and that action is wrong, in my opinion. I am not going to say that I live up to that ideal 100% of the time but it's what I believe and I do try very hard to in my life. Words are powerful and should be used with that in mind.

Most people don't need "the right to pass judgement". They feel that EVERYONE is "entitled" to hear their opinion, no matter how unacceptable (and if it isn't acceptable, what's wrong with the other person?) or harsh or cruel their opinion is. I think it is a control thing - people hand out opinions like lashes because it makes them feel in control.... of everything.

The fact that they themselves have not been there, done that, is totolly irrelevent.

Freedom of speech and thought process. I dont necessarily think you have to expierence something to make a judgement or have an opinion on it....like I never murdered anyone and I know that its a bad thing to do.

Would it be alright if we gave ADVICE? Especially to those we love and care about and who have given us permission to come along them and give gentle counsel, as opposed to sticking a finger in their face?
I don't to go there and do that, just to learn a painful lesson that someone else already has, or maybe hasn't, which is often the way of children.
Are you perhaps more concerned with the attitude in which counsel is given than that counsel IS given? I know I am.
The counsel of those who are close to me, and who can put a gentle finger on my sin WITHOUT running it in, is absolutely vital and necessary to me.

well, it's natural for a human to judge people whether it's good or bad judgement.. you have to admit that everyone does this every day.
