Silly me, I assumed that's what the answers were for. I don't see why people feel the need to insult other people's religions anyway. Ask questions yes, but don't religion-bash.

We can and do use yahoo answers to learn about other peoples views, and in most categories this works out great, (with a few exceptions).
However on the subject of religion there is no chance at all! Atheists, I am atheist what do I discuss with any religious group? I don't believe in God, I respect the right of anyone to believe in God, good luck to them, I have no respect for any religious group or their 'leaders' and teachers' if you believe in God isnt that enough for you?
Christians, what can a Muslim discuss with a Christian? They have next to nothing in common, I used to work along the lines that at least they both thought there is only one God, (theres something in common)?, but the Christian belief in the trinity makes Muslims think that Christians have more than one God, Jesus was (and still is) God, etc etc.
Out side of religion we do have things in common, unlikely as it may seem I have many friends among Christians and Muslims, none of these are fanatics, or I wouldnt want to know, Muslim friends have told me that I as an atheist am the infidel (unbeliever) not the Christians, I am the one that is 'doomed' no matter what.
Christians have told me there is time still for me rto be saved, if I repent I can still be 'saved' !
I in return have tried to explain to both groups that they are complete Tos*ers! These conversations all take place with tongue in cheek, nothing serious.
But while I think your question is quite valid we have nothing in common to discuss in the field of religion, it seems their common belief in a God is not enough, they all have to follow their ' leaders' and 'teachers' !

I agree. I do not want bash anyone. I live in the USA. Freedom is of utmost importance to me. Free Choice. I do want to reach people of like mind. Christian people. Because the Christians in this great country have failed miserably to represent Christ before man. We are in the Fifth Cycle of discipline and it will get worse if the Believers in this country do not do their job.

As a Christian, I would like to see people be more like Jesus. He was never offended by anyone asking questions. Even those who tried to trap Him and kill Him were properly answered. People are no longer taught to be polite, in my opinion.

It would be nice but it will never happen.
Too much bad blood and too many who feel the need to attack others to affirm their faith in religion or atheism.

That would be nice - but I'm afraid human nature will get in the way.
