and that 9/11 didnt started anything, it was just the catalyst that allowed people to openly criticise the lack of respect that is shown by SOME muslims towards on of our holies: the human face, without being labelled racist....thats all that 9/11 has done.

With regard to that holy of holies....
Some cleric where I live was saying that wearing a veil makes everyone listen to what a woman is really saying as we won't be distracted by her facial expressions or her beauty.
Assuming that to be true, then I suggest that in future all polititions,religious leaders, criminals in the dock, witnesses etc do the same, so that we won't be distracted by them.
Wonder how long it would take before the veil didn't seem such a good idea any more?

Y cant u people understand that its their lives, their bodies and THEIR right to do whatever they want to do with it.No ones forcing u to cover up your face so whats ur problem anyway???????
U can accept scantily clad people in your society so it would just b fair to accept the other extreme too.And besides if u dont like them u ignore them simple as that.Why are u getting all crazy about sth that is a part of their lives.Its none of ur business Ct wzl.

"Holy" means set apart, separate. You've just given one of the theological reasons why some Muslim women choose to the veil.
You are of course free to criticize their choice. Just as I am free to tell you that your hate reflects badly on no one but yourself.

the 9\11 is said to be done gy the USA government itself or even torrirists .so it has nothing to do with islam.if i found aman killing achild and he turned out to be christian do we judge christianity as awhole.why you misjudges us all the time.please READ more about our religion and stop being so superficial.
