He asserts that spirtuality and science (knowledge ) can coexist as they are facets of the same"godhead".What is your opinion?

so many things science cant explain and so many things spirtuality cant explain.

No, according to me they cannot, there are so many things tht science cannot explain

And many christians believe this as well. U.S. Episcopalians do (see their new leader's, Katharine Jefferts Schori, statement about how evolution is true). Many evangelicals do as well (do a google search).
Those whose faith is shaky will always feel threatened by anything that seems to put it in doubt -- other religions, science, other thought systems, etc. Those whose faith is strong won't ever be affected and will instead incorporate new ideas in.

Of course. As we evolve, we will understand that God created all Laws of Science. One day, science and religion will become understood as a part of the other. When life after death (disencarnated existence) is more understood by society as a whole, we will see this evolution.

he has more knowledge and wisdom than I do. some of the ideas he professes make a lot of sense
