if you know someone's details you can send them a bluey. a pre - paid self contained letter that you can pick up from your post office. alternatively you can send an e-bluey which is much quicker as it is printed in the area it is sent to so only takes 1 or 2 days to get to its destination.
i'm on an all inclusive sunny holiday at the mo curtesy of HM Government. you can drop me a line at dougiebhoy@yahho.co.uk if you want any more details.

step 1 - write a letter.
step 2 - put the letter in an envelope
step 3 - write the address on the envelope
step 4 - put the proper postage on the envelope
step 5 - give the letter to your cheerful local postmaster who will send it to where you want it to go.
step 6 - bask in the glory that is the postal system

You need to find out their BFPO number. That way they will receive it no matter where they are. Ask their family or contact their Commanding Officer at their home Base.
