I have, but I'm not a Christian... so it's really not "my" Bible, is it?

I go with weedancer, no one else answered your question but put a lot of disconnected babble up that has nothing to do with scripture of Psalm 37:11. Why? because they have no real answer to the question to Psalm 37:11.
Their religion doesn't have room for the meek possessing the earth, because they all teach that good guys go to heaven which is incorrect as God originally had made the earth for righteous humans to live on and will when He wipes out wickedness forever.

I have studied the bible 43 years, all about God, Christ, creation, time involved, what was created first, about the angels, about Satan, how we went from perfect to sin, how we got the word of God, why we have prophecy, how and when the prophecy came about.
All the people in the bible, all the genealogy of Jesus, of the Priest, of the judges, of the kings, how before the flood man had a long life span and it dropped to age 70 is old age.
How to know the soul, spirit, what death is, what resurrection is, how the resurrections is, the first resurrected and why, why life is what it is and why plans had to be to make, as John 3:16 says.
What good and evil is all about and when it existed first. When evil will end. How the verses mean some will go to heaven and what their purpose is and why they qualify, others as the meek, just and the humble with faith, love and being thankful plans are made to save us as God's family [ in time, understanding the time, not being careless with the time ]; How to pray and why. Why there will be a new heavens and a new earth. Why the resurrection of the just and the unjust Acts 17:31 [ 24:15 ].

I've studied a lot - but I will never be completely finished - there is just too much there and it would take more than one lifetime to study the entire book. I don't profess to be a Biblical scholar either.
The meek shall inherit the Earth -
The dictionary defines meek as:
1 : enduring injury with patience and without resentment : MILD
2 : deficient in spirit and courage : SUBMISSIVE
3 : not violent or strong : MODERATE
Also found in Matthew 5 - known as the beatitudes
1Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them saying:
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Basically showing that people with the above characteristics toward God will have the desires of their hearts fulfilled - the meek, in this instance, are the ones who wait patiently until everyone else has had their fill or turn - they will have the desires of their hearts when they are with the Lord - the world (earth) - of course our desires will greatly change when faced with eternity with God, but they will be fulfilled.

I believe that the earth will stand after the end of this system of things as we know it. The meek ones Or the ones that were meek enough to have a heart condition which allowed them to love God and to love God you must walk in his path and do what is required of you. These meek ones will reside on the earth for 1000 years .144,000 people will go to heaven to rule along side of Jesus, these meek ones( the great crowd ....spoken about in Revalations)

I easily have examine the hot testomony in its entirety and maximum of the previous testomony, yet have not examine the completed Bible. i've got self belief the Bible is common and philosophically particularly sound, yet am uncertain with regard to the literalness of a few of its factors. i do no longer think of that could subtract in any way from its fee. Jesus on no account needed us to be innovations-numbed robots. He preached love and expertise. He additionally preached self-discipline and faith. I do evaluate the Bible to be the be attentive to God, yet are you heavily suggesting the be conscious has been identically preserved by translations from Hebrew, Greek, seventeenth Century English and twentieth Century English while there are evident disagreements between those translations? Are all translations the peerlessly preserved be attentive to God? If no longer, which translations might you recommend we base our faith on? Or can we use that large God-given gadget, judgement, to help us by those matters?

i think there are more out there that have studied their bibles than anyone knows. I have read it cover to cover many times but, i am still not through studying it. As we grow in knowledge we receive more understanding and more wisdom. so the bible is never really finished. we may read it over and over and still find what we need to grow more in the truth and spirit of god. as for the meek, it means to me that people who are humble in spirit, who do not profess themselves to be above everyone else, are the meek.

I am studying the Bible daily. I can tell you that through my studies that I have learned that not enough Christians in the USA have studied the Bible because we are in the "Fifth Cycle of Discipline." We have greater things than the Earth to inherit. He rewards us with universes. We are the Royal family to God. If we want to keep the terrorists away, We need to do our job. Study the Bible, PRAY, and take part in the Sacrament. God wants to bless us, in time and eternity
