OK...before you start on the rhetoric that you have been spewing since the illegal immigration debate has started, can you give me real reasons to support illegal immigration?
Please do not tell me that they are looking for a better way of life. There are 4.5 billion people in this world that are at much lower standard of living than people in Mexico. With that logic, we would have to bring in 4.5 billion people into this country to assist them in making a better life for them. Honestly, if you are trying to help someone become a better person or have an improved life, wouldn't it be better served going to their country and helping them with things such as education and health care? Do we not already do this in several countries?
Also, do not tell me that they are doing "jobs Americans will not do". EVERY job that an illegal immigrant possesses right now was previously done by an American citizen. EVERY LAST ONE. The illegal immigrants are only being exploited and doing jobs that Americans ONCE did at usually about ¼ of the rate.
Do not tell me that if the illegal immigrants were deported to their home country that the economy would collapse and that the rate of inflation would explode. That is just flat out speculation and in no way based on any facts. The only thing that would change is the profits that multimillion dollar company net. It would really upset them if they had to pay a decent wage and reduce their profit. They do nothing more than exploit illegal immigrants and if pro-illegal supporters are so worried about illegal immigrants rights…shouldn't they be protesting the companies that are using them as slave labor?
Do not tell me that they are not hurting anyone. Our health care system, our welfare system, and our educational system can not sustain the influx of people into this country.
Hospitals are closing due to the amount of illegal immigrants that do not pay their bills. Our educational system is overcrowded. In my sons 1st grade class there are over 30 children in his class. Eight of which are Hispanic, I do not know for sure…I can only speculate their parents citizenship; however, I know that the teacher sends all of the homework instruction home in English and Spanish…so what is that telling you.
Do you think that our country can sustain this level of immigration without some consequences? Do you not think that as soon as the well is run dry in your city and state that they will not hesitate to raise taxes? At the current level of illegal immigrants that we have in this country, they are costing each taxpayer $1200.00 every year. I know that I would much rather see that $1200.00 that I paid in taxes spent on other things rather than paying the bill for someone that doesn't even legally belong in this country.
I don't know…just help me understand how this is good for our country.
Now give me a low rating…take about you warm fuzzy feelings that you have for illegal immigrants…say that I am a racist…tell me how this isn't "our" country to begin with…I have heard all the bu**sh**…but not once has anyone actually said anything that would make a real point in why we should lower our standard of living to accommodate people who don't even legally belong here. I agree that in an ideal world that there would be no borders and everyone would drink a Coke and live in harmony….but this isn't an ideal world.

I gave you a thumbs up. Good question and you will not receive a coherent or logical answer. There is nothing positive about illegal immigration.
At first the jobs that Americans won't do was limited to farming. Now it has expanded to numerous occupations, including construction. Now I know for a fact that Americans will do construction, they just can't do it for what greedy contractors want to pay because they don't get government assistance in the form of food stamps. Here is an excerpt from a recent LA times article:
"Sylvia Cruz, who has three U.S.-born children, came to the class after hearing about food stamps on a Spanish-language news report. She then worked to convince her husband, a construction worker who earns $1,800 monthly and pays $1,200 in rent. "
Based on 40 hours per week that is better than $10.00/hr far more than the $3.00/hr the pro illegals like to claim. Also notice the THREE US born Children. You can bet money that taxpayer dollars paid for them and will continue to pay in the form of free education and free breakfast and lunch programs.
I don't see the benefit here either.

Okay Cinci, here goes...
You are stating all that you don’t want to hear but look at it this way:
People coming here are not just coming from Mexico. They are coming from all over the world. This is the Promised Land, a land of immigrants like it or not. And no, it is not better to go to some else’s country to help them because that is intruding. These people are seeking refuge here and we should help them(*).
About jobs, you say EVERY job that an illegal immigrant possesses right now was previously done by an American citizen. So what happened? How come Americans aren’t doing them now? Who is to blame here? If there is no work then immigrants will not come here, period. As long as there is work they will continue to come. Again, who is to blame?
If all illegals were deported I don’t know that our economy would collapse, but look at what happened in Nevada in the meat packing industry. THAT is NOT speculation. When the illegals were fired the industry HURT.
As far as illegals not hurting anyone, as long as they don’t hurt anyone and as long as they are productive they should be afforded the opportunity to assimilate, like ALL other immigrants before them. Otherwise they should be deported. Don’t blame the illegal because our own government is too generous with the social aid. That can be legislated, but don’t cry if it changes for all of us. Schooling can also be regulated by legislature.
Illegal immigrants have been around FOREVER. People cross the border, earn a few American dollars and go home. Now it has been blown out of proportion because of a totally different issue—the excuse is terrorists.
Terrorism has nothing to do with migrant workers. The 9-11 terrorists didn’t cross the Rio Grande to get here. They came in on a 747 with passports and visas and our own government’s knowledge. Someone dropped the ball. No terrorist sophisticated enough to do us any real harm will cross the most polluted river in North America where he will stand out like a sore thumb getting here. The border issue is smoke and mirrors to divert attention from REAL problems. Concerns about overtaxing our welfare system and schools can be legislated but are not because it is not a major concern to our government; smoke being blown our way again. The real issue is that the White, middle-class American Protestant is afraid of becoming a minority. If it happens, its happens. Deal with it. This, after all, IS a nation of immigrants.
All a border wall is going to do is make some special interest group a whole bunch of money at the taxpayer’s expense. More smoke and mirrors. If welfare and school issues truly are our concerns, then we need to write our representatives in Washington. Bigotry, hate mongering, border walls and minutemen are NOT the answer.

Well (pretending to be a supporter)~ I support them cause alot of my family is here illegally, but most of all because of their "race" I mean come ~on- obviously they're La Raza what else needs to be said. I support illegal aliens mainly because I care more about My own race, than I do about ANY stinkin Americans!!~ besides when I get my criminal relatives legalized we will be a huge viable voting block that will destroy America as we know it today~ we want to make America just like Mexico so La Raza wont have anywhere to run!

Where'd all the pro-illegals go? Hello? Anyway, I agree with you totally. But you should know that these are their excuses for supporting illegal immigration, not their real reasons. But I won't get into that right now.

But, but, communism and corruption are GOOD for america! There's NO such thing as importing enough poverty to the United States, we WELCOME illegal drug and human trafficking, it's important for american colleges etc. to become full-fledged nests of communist subversion, instead of places you could go to get training to get a job. Besides, it's Mexico's civil RIGHT to send as many of their citizens into the USA, after all, we stole their land.
I firmly believe that we need more left-wing apologist politicians,
because at the end of the day, IT'S ALL AMERICA'S FAULT!
We SHOULD feel guilty, we owe the world a living, don't you agree? If you don't, you're just a heartless, unfeeling racist scumbag who has no conscience or feeling for the poor and downtrodden victims of our imperialist policies. So there.

All that you said is negated by "feelings" ... it feels good to support the supposed down trodden... more so if it doesn't cost you, personally, anything or no effort on your part is expended directly in their support.
