If you have faith in God and Jesus Chist trials only push you closer to Him.

I feel that I must complete them as well as possible, to evolve further, and not face the same mistakes, or trials in my next life. The farther we evolve, and understand our evolution, the less strife we feel in our lives, and closer to God we will become.

closer. Jehovah always helps me when things are bad. I pray to Jehovah threw Jesus Christ all the time to help me.

Both as it depends upon the circumstances. under certain conditions have learned to rely upon my own strengths and not on others yet in other circumstances have relied upon the strength of others who have come to my aid and support.
