It's because the hair isn't completely dry when they are straightening it and they haven't put in any products to protect the hair from the heat. It also happens sometimes if they set the iron at too high a temperature. If you're going to straighten your hair, always make sure your hair is completely dry before you straighten it otherwise you will be causing a lot of damage to your hair.

It's not smoke it steam. You hair has to be washed before being straightened and the moisture that is still in the hair turns to steam when the flat iron hits it.

Wow 370! this is extreme are you useful you cant turn it down a notch to approximately 215? my hair is extremely curly and that i make the main a $50 vs sassoon straightner set at 215degrees and it makes my hair ineffective in the present day and its no longer doing as a lot harm as though i replaced into to sizzle my hair with 370 yet to respond on your question, no it quite isn't undesirable jointly as steam comes out of your hair. i think of of its particularly reason you located heat temperature protectent in and then straighten it. your consistently gonna get quite steam jointly as straightening/curling/waving and if it makes a scorching NOISE as nicely, that'scompletely ok. its all indoors the flexibility of looking superb indoors the tip :)

The hairdresser doesnt have the hair completely dry then! The steam is from the wet hair they are straitening. Some hair is dryer than other pieces

its probably cuz they sprayed this thing that protects your hair from heat, and wen you put the straighting iron on it, it burns that part but doesnt get to your hair.

Smoke means pre ignition to fire, or fire. I really think you see steam. But if it is really smoke the iron is burning the hair.
