I believe that there are many gods but I only worship several. All deities are very real to those who worship them. Just because I don't worship a specific deity/ies does not mean that they aren't real.

Because it is possible that god is a man-made construct and everybody has their own ideas about what he/she/it should be. My belief is that if there is only one god and if he/she/it really, really wants us to pray to him/her/it then the universe would have been arranged to make that happen.
That there is such anarchy in the field of religion, is I think, proof that it is artificial.

because they still want to be able to live how they want with no consequences,,so they go for whatever fits into their life at the time to make life easy...
