Please help settle an argument my girlfriends and I have been having. We need a male perspective on this one.
Some of us say that a guy wouldn't want to start a relationship with a woman he slept with on the first date, and some of us say that if the guy is really into the woman that it doesn't matter. What do you think?

I should probably add that this question came about because when my girlfriends were hanging out the other night one of them was freaking out about this. I guess she went on a blind date with some guy that she says is the typical "nice guy", not a player type, and they were so attracted to each other that they stayed out all night and ended up in bed. She seems to really like him, and he told her that he really wanted to have a second date and to see her again and she's freaking out because she's worried that he won't call. I told her not to worry, but I've not been in this situation to know how it will play out.

Does not matter. If the guy likes her...he likes her weather or not they were in bed 10 minutes into the date or 10 months into the relationship.

You're both right and wrong on this one. It would also depend on wether the guy was looking for a 1 night stand or not.
I do think that if the guy really liked the girl and she liked him,it wouldn't matter too much,but I also think they should put off sleeping together until they see how the relationship goes.

There is no problem with sleeping in the first date. I think it is even better. The idea is that both of partners should be into each other, and definitely there cant be any further relationship if one of them was up to just having some fun

NAHHHH. A guy wouldn't want to start a relationship with a woman he slept with... especially on the first date.
Because he already got what he wanted.
And now it's time for him to move on to the next girl...
The typical "nice guy" doesn't sleep with someone on the first date... let alone too soon at all.

I would! I am obviously interested in her if I slept with her. Not to mention you already removed the stress of the whole sex issue. But not all men think the same, some are only interested in a one night stand, or the challenge of the conquest.

Well 4 years ago on the first date I made love to the guy and we are still going strong,we were both adults and we knew what we wanted.Each other we got married!!!
