It happens. It doesn't mean anything, so let it go. She already has to feel lousy enough for the mistake.

It's only a harmless slip. Don't worry, mistakes happen. If she's been going out with him for so long, obviously she'd have trouble remembering the present. I think she's over him. As my own mistake, once I called my father my friend's name. If I can make such a stupid slip-up, she could easily call the guy next to her an old name that she's called for two years. If she realized her mistake straight away, then she was focused on you and wasn't thinking of her ex.

I think it coulda been a harmless slip. You can get in the habit of saying that persons name OR HEARING IT & you CAN slip. Give her the benefit of that because I've accidently slipped calling someone a name just cuz someone had been calling me that name. Also, I've called my kids by their sibs name or the cat. Common mistakes that can not mean anything.
Then again maybe she misses him? That could also be true so... besides her slipping, is there any other signs of reservation that she may not be all with you?

Harmless slip. Either something you did or said or being out for drinks probably brought her back to times with her ex. So let it go and don't worry about it. You could do some damage to your relationship if you keep on it. If it persists question her about it. But for right now DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.

It's just the name of the person he used to spend a lot of tome with. My young daughter sometimes calls me "mom".Not because she's drunk and thinking about her mom, it's just a slip of the tongue. People usually make these kind of mistake when their guard is down and they are comfortable. Let him off the hook, it was a harmless mistake with no deeper meaning.

It could be a simple mistake. I mean, she was with him for a long time. Imagine saying someone's name for 3 years, then trying to not say it. Hard thing to do. I went through something kinda like it. My ex visited my hubby(then bf) and me, and I was showing ex our house, and I acidentally called him "babe", and told him sorry I didn't mean to say it. Honest mistake. And since it hasn't been long since they broke up, it will take her a while to break the habit. Don't feel bad, you are the one who is with her now. :)

Harmless slip. I know it was probably a real gut wrench, but especially since she was a little compromised by alcohol, don't make anything more than what it was....A slip.

not necessarily. she may have bumped into him somewhere or maybe someone spoke of him in her presence. that's a subconscience thing that you shouldn't let upset you. maybe she was with him for a very long time and it was out of habit. don't let it get to you. if you love and trust her don't read too much into it. i'm sure she's didn't realise it and kicked herself for the mistake. giver her a kiss and a hug to let her know she's human.

I believe it was an honest slip. She was with him for a long time. She realized her mistake right away which to me says it was not intentional. Think about it she is with you now isn't she!?

The alcohol numbed her brain. A harmless slip of the tongue and she may think about him and if she really pays attention to you as you like it, forgive her.
