Do you think the reaction would be one of anger (like the religious jewish people did 2000 years ago)? Do you think people would brand him as a false prophet, one who preaches heresy (like the religious jewish people did 2000 years ago)? Do you think people would quote the bible to prove that he was wrong (like the religious jewish people did 2000 years ago)? Christians would most likely proclaim not to be the real Christ. Rather than be forced to change their beliefs, Christians would most likely called Jesus a liar to his face.
I don't mean to be rude, but this is the most likely response.

The Christians would dismiss this person as either a false prophet or the anti-Christ regardless if it were really Jesus or not.

I'd be like "Whew! Man, I'm glad to hear that". I don't like the doctrine of Hell. Most Christians don't I believe. It seems to me that annihilation or post-life reform would be more fair, but I know God is just and His wisdom and love is greater than mine so I trust Him with it. There's just no way to get around hell if you believe the Bible.

This is one of those questions like "Can God create a rock so heavy He can't lift it?" It's not even worthy of discussion.
