Animals do not go to heaven because they have no soul. They just cease to exist. Apparently, we do not need pets in heaven since only our souls go there. New born babies do have a soul and go to heaven because they are completely innocent.

Yes, they do. Assuming heaven exists, I would think it would be filled with everything that is wonderful in this world as well as what's wonderful in the next. Think about it....beautiful mountains, rivers, fields, etc. If these inanimate objects of beauty are in the hereafter, then animals are surely there also.

Yes, animals go to Heaven.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

God loves all His animals.

Thanks to flychicc4 for posting The Rainbow Bridge! Anytime a friend loses a pet, I forward that essay.

I don't believe in heaven or hell, but if a heaven exists, our pets deserve it far more than most humans.

anyone who does not believe that animals go to their heaven is a true hypocrite because we as humans are animals,so why would we go to a "heaven" and other animals/species not go,because of what some fictitious book says?that's just loony

This is good enough for me
THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;
they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together,
but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent;his eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass,
his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face;
your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,
so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together........"

Well, cats are spawns from hell already, so I think that they can get to hell if they want to at anytime.
