my son is 10 and he uses it as he sweats alot 'which causes some oder'but with the deoderant he;s fine 'and his docter says it's ok also

depends on the age factor. are they over hmmm 9? if they arent then just washing with soap and water is good enough. but as soon as the child develops hair, you have smell. so i guess you should go by how much hair they have rather than the age.
also, deoderants are diff. from antiperspirants becuz deoderants make the armpit smell good and neutralizes odor. antipersperants prevent odor and are NOT good for children to wear everyday.

Yes. It is OK to let your children us deodorant as long as the deodorant dose not have aluminium

deodorant is fine, however, i know there's a little controversy about anti-perspirant being unsafe because of the aluminum content.
