You mean like feeling pretty damn good while you've got a buzz on and then having a hellacious hangover the next day?

It's possible. I've always though that souls are grouped together based on their view of good and evil in the afterlife, that those who are filled with guilt put themselves in a torturous place while Those who feel that they've lived a good life are in a place with others like them. Keep in mind that this version of heaven is subjective and there may be many such places.
I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

Absolutely not. God tells us in His word that these are real places and to believe anything less means we are picking and choosing which of His teachings are true. It's an all or nothing. Believe or don't. Heaven and hell are real places. You can't have light without dark to measure it by, you can't have Heaven unless there is a hell.

The Kingdom of Heaven is indeed close... much closer than most 'believers' realise!
Or, as Hot Chocolate so rightly put it... "Heaven's in the back seat of my cadillac! Let me take you there, yeah yeah!"

My mother told me she was reading from the bible to her mother who was in the nursing home, she had cancer, and suddenly her eyes lit up very brightly. her hands went up towards the ceiling, she cried Jesus! and passed on. that's why I came back to Christianity, so I would be with my people after I passed on. someone came and took her to heaven I believe.I sure don't think it was the devil who came to take her. she was a wonderful Christian.

No. They are two distinct but different places. Heaven is where you want to go after you graduate from learning here on earth and make the right choices. Hell is where you will go if you turn your back on God and claim to know more than the God who created you.
God bless you on your journey. Think wisely before you decide.
