Would he still believe if the Bush girls were in the military?
Or do you think that it is easy because he doesn't know any of the names that come back on the list?

Oh and please do not bother calling me a terrorist for questioning the president, its so passe. I just wonder if you believe his resolve or question it. Just answer the question please or move on.

He believes in it enough to let 2890 men and women die since 03'. He believes in it enough to yell and argue and plead the people to believe in it. Then again...it isn't his kids , family , friends who are dying over there.

He would. I have served in Iraq and my son will likely go there.

I suspect that you have bought into the myth that the people who support the war are all people with nothing at stake.

He knows many of the names because he met them personallly to thank them, including my father. He would be proud of his girls for joining the military, why wouldn't he? He was in the military, why wouldn't he want his daughters to join? Just because he doesn't force them doesn't mean he won't let them join.

I agree, politicians who believe in war should send their own children there first. If they still believe in the war after one or two of their own children have been shot, they they can proceed to have the public send their kids.

If Bush knew the people that were being killed personally, he would change his opinion of "Bring them On!" Cowboy mentalilty fades when its your own family at stake.
