you sure can, this is really good if you like loose tea or like to make your own blends. pout in the hot water wait a few minutes press and fresh hot tea.

I've done this with both loose leaf and bagged tea. I prefer the flavour of loose leaf, so it works for me.

I would suggest, though, that you don't use a french press that has been used for coffee before. It will make your tea taste muddy.
