The problem is that first it was stolen and a check was cut for the damages from Insurance, but before I get a chance to have it repaired, it gets totaled out. My question is Inow that I have to file a another claim what happens to the check from the first claim?

between the two claims they will not pay you more than the car is worth,if your policy had an age restriction for the drivers then your friend may not be covered and you will get nothing,you will have to file a claim against his insurance if he has any

The check for the first claim would offset the amount to be paid for the second. If say, you got a check for $2,000 for repairs, and then it got totaled and was worth $5,000, you would get a second check for the difference, or $3,000.

do you have the police reports from when it was stolen and recovered if so then no problem if not (DO NOT FILE A NEW REPORT) unless you would like to got o jail for insurance fraud.... just wright the car off and be done with it....

you,ll probably only get the remaining balance form what the vehicle is worth at this point,they wont pay double on this one so they,ll deduct that amount off this amount to make it come out to the worth of the car,,good luck,i hope,this help,s.

Good grief. I hope you are able to even get insurance after this mess! Call your agent. She should be able to give you advise. This is interesting!
