Better yet, what do you consider to be "peace"?

Respect - treating another with dignity as you would want to be treated even if you have different approaches to situations or opposite opinions. You agree to disagree, but you still treat the other with dignity.

Honor - to hold in high value, again, even if you disagree.

Peace - Being balanced spiritually where adversity can be handled and once resolved you return to this center of non confusion/commotion.

so which is it? peace is not always honor and respect. If fact sometimes an honorable person with respect will often not have peace around them. It takes courage and integrity to live a honorable and respectful life

Honor: having a moral and ethical code that you do your utmost to adhere to.

Respect: Granting to all others the same rights and privileges that I have and expect.

Peace: A state at which there is no danger or malice. At minimum a state of mind, what is hoped for, a world wide phenomena.

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

What ever we do that is honorable must be done to bring glory to God. And through that, God shall cover us in His peace. Praise the Lord!
