In what way? I see it as war that over threw a dictator, being used to cover up religious conflict masquerading as a political issue.
The Shites have the power now ,the Sunni's want it
back and both figure they have Allah on their side.
Strange they all pray to the same God and kill each other
in his name. Neither is willing to stop killing civilians as the both love the media coverage of their side getting out. Iran which is mainly Shite is loving the new peace plan that puts them smack in the middle for a take over like Syria has in Lebanon.
Saddam was evil but at least now we can have a glimmer of understanding into why he ruled with such an iron fist. Keep the people down, hopeless and threaten their very existence and they won't kill each other. Twisted but it worked.

Little in life is black and white, except for violent conflict. Violent conflict is always about only one thing - money. The sectarian violence in Iraq is no different. He who controls Iraq, controls the flow of oil and thus controls the money.

Of course it is. Any war is started by politics. Actually....Any and all and every single conflict ever started is because of politics. And it will continue to be that way.

Its totally political and totally unnecessary but we seem to be a tad mired down in it at present. Should never have invaded in the first place.

Would you like to go over there and let the terrorists know this so they can go home now and the war will be over?
