is there a microsoft office 2004 or higher?

is there a microsoft office 2004? I have 2003. its looks like the newest model, but my friend told me is was not the newest. i was just wondering because if it is i will get the newer one. if it is not my friend is an idiot.

Office 2007 is coming out in January 2007. The previous version is Office 2003. Your friend may have seen the beta versions of Office 2007, but the final version has not been release yet. There is no Office 2004, 2005 or 2006. See: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/default.aspx

Office 2004 is a version for Apple Mac OS X based computers.

Office 2007 will be the next version for Windows.
