Because a male has to prove to a female that he is not a wimp and by this a male might become abit arrogant. C'mon you gotta give him credit;)

Its all about the manelyness. Why do bucks beat the c*** out of each other in front of does? Its because they want to impress and be with that one doe. With humans, the ultimate goal is to always mate, but becuase we have such a more complex system of relations than animals, they want to at least get you interested in them enough to date.
They just want to show you they are strong, healthy, ripped, and you should date them because they take care of themselves and are hot. Meaning, they are potential dating material and such.

As a man I have no idea I think they are just posers who get pleasure from showing their bodies off. Personally I have always run from gyms. I have always kept fit by simply walkingthat way you don't get out of breath, sweaty and smelly and you can take your partener walking with you, much more fun than being in a gym.

Because, they always hear that girls love guy's with good abs and that are athletic... They, think that if you see them with there shirt off, and working out and sweeting it's going to make you like them, or want them.... (Well, at least that is what my husband just told me lol) But, I see it that way too. Hope, that helped you out!

I have no clue, and then if you just ignore them or act like you don't see them, they want to make loud noises. And if you still don't look they want to call your attention to the situation. I just shake my head.
