Get all deals in writing. If they won't put it on paper, then it's just another tactic to see how far they can manipulate you. I have known many CI's over my lifetime & I can tell that only a few did it for the right reasons. To me, the right reasons would be the ones that don't just help YOU out of a jam, but that they help other people by exposing the mastermind behind the no-good acts that have lured the "non-street saavy" people into the situation they are now in. A smart criminal mind knows how to manipulate a town & an agency & all it takes is one person to give the enforcement people the edge they need to take a dangerous person off the street & stick them behind bars. Choose wisely & go with your heart & your first instinct. Don't do this if you feel a "fear", because others will spot you as a phoney & your life will be in danger when you are tagged as a CI on the streets. :o)

dont be a narc man! what are you thinking? that should not even cross your mind as an option. if you become an informant that means your name will be on a piece of paper every time you narc someone out. that piece of paper will then be given to the guy you snitched on. that means you will be lucky if you dont get beat or even worse, shot. that guy will tell his friends what you did. his friends will tell thier friends and everyone is gunna want a piece of you. besides that being a snitch is the lowest of the low. you would be a traitor. someone not to be trusted by anyone and hated by all. the cops are gunna screw you over in the end. they do not care what happens to you. you will probly have to go to jail anyway(cops lie to get you to help them) and once your in jail others will find out what you did and beat the crap out of you on a daily basis. take your jail time. be a man not a coward. let the cops do thier own work. people get killed every day for snitchin, do you want to go to jail for a while or do you want to be walkin down the street and get beat to death or shot in the back as a result of rollin over on some one. that person you snitch on might not be the one to do something but chances are he will offer a nice chunk to anyone that does. ive seen it. i have known people that did that stuff and believe me, you will get got. you wont come out on top. last year i seen this girl that snitched get pulled from a car and beat to death with big azz chunks of concrete by like ten dudes. do you want that to be you? no, thats what i thought. and besides that is a cowardly thing to do. you did the crime. suck it up, be a man, do the time. i hope you make the right desision. good luck

If I offered you a deal, I assure you I knew what I was doing. I would not put you in harms way but I knew I could use you for some information. My CI's always stayed confidential. If you didn't want the opportunity, I filed the charges against you.

It got my cousin ran off a cliff and killed, people started figuring out that 5 minutes after you leave her house, you get busted.
Squeelers don't generally have a long life span, if you become a CI, make sure the people you help put away, stay away for a long time
the worst part about jail is the food
choose wisely

Any such deal would be proposed by the state's attorney. The police have no authority to drop any charges. I would ask for an attorney before making any statements.

I spent 20 months in Prison and if I could have made a deal I sure would have. Take the deal, and get in writing. You don't want to ruin the rest of your life, having a felony conviction. It truely sucks!

You can only do what YOU feel is right, doing anything else would be wrong. Some people are going to say one thing while others are going to say the other, and you will still be there saying what should I do. Look deep within yourself, and you will find the answer... Whether you tell them to go |=U CyberNara
